Sponsor a student
Our students share in the vision to reach their village, country and the Pacific for Jesus.
They come from all over the Pacific, some from more established towns, many from remote villages, and we recognise that they may not have the finances to cover the five month curriculum. Each student is required to fund their own travel and visa for the Solomon Islands.
Once at the School of Ministries, all general living expenses, including food and accommodation, is provided through the generosity of our community.
The cost of supporting a student and their family, while they are at the School is approximately AUD$1000. Donate today to help us make more places available.
Support the School of Ministries
It is through the generosity of many that the School of Ministries was built and is still running today. To date, over 550 churches have been planted across the world, bringing the Word of God to thousands, and we invite you to be a part of this legacy by supporting the next cohort of students.
Your generosity can enable the:
Day to day running of the School including food and supplies for the students.
Maintenance of the School facilities, vehicle and generator.
Planting and harvesting of the gardens where the students get all of their fresh food.
Purchasing and keeping livestock, predominately chicken and pigs, which are used for food, and special occasion feasts.
Salaries of the Solon Island based team, including the Principals, a Gardener, two Chefs and a farmer.
Special Projects, such as the building of a new toilet block and installation of solar energy.
Solar power batteries.
A new village church building for the host village, Rarata.
Rarata Primary School
In every classroom, there is a list of items the teacher needs to provide a better learning environment and lessons for the children. These items are very basic, including things like pencils, rulers, colour pencils, erasers, biros, flash cards and wall charts.
Initially, we were blessed with grants from the Solomon Islands Government, however due to the cost of hosting the 2023 South Pacific Games, these grants are no longer available.
With financial support, most of the items can be purchased in the Solomon Islands capital, Honiara.
